Superfood Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie Recipe
Incorporating your veggies and all of the benefits that come along with it can be hard. I know it because I go through the same thing. I've tried to infuse as many veggies as possible in our dinners and lunches but when you're also trying to save money and budget, it can be a juggling act. And then sometimes life happens, and your fresh veggies end up spoiling faster than you can even use them. Frozen vegetables are more convenient but just not the same, taste-wise and benefit-wise.
The easiest way is to drink a Superfood powder that allows you to get all of your veggies in one punch. We use Amazing Grass' Protein Superfood. With one stop, you've taken care of 2 full servings of fruits and vegetables. 20 grams of complete plant-based protein and 7 servings of alkalizing greens. The smell and the taste of this stuff is potent, it doesn't exactly taste GOOD. But when hidden in the mix of a smoothie, it's the best way I've found to consume this stuff. The directions say to add one scoop or 12 oz or more of water or milk, or a smoothie. I've tried the water mix and I couldn't even finish it. SO I'm sharing my smoothie recipe for it. 😁

- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp Superfood Protein Powder
