Buffalo Chicken Rangoons
BUFFALO. CHICKEN. RANGOONS. This is it. This is the tailgate, football party, ultimate Asian-American fusion recipe. And it's so easy to put together. This recipe is air fryer friendly but the wonton wrappers just won't be as puffy and golden brown. Definitely spritz with a little bit of cooking spray before putting in the air fryer. The photo above is what they look like deep fried. Happy eating!
Buffalo Chicken Rangoons
- Wonton wrappers
- Cream cheese
- Cooked chicken breast, shredded
- Buffalo sauce
- Scallions (optional)
- Garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil to fry
Directions
- Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, scallions, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Spoon 1-2 tsp. of the mixture onto a wonton wrapper, fold the wonton wrapper in half diagonally and seal, gently using your fingers to push out any air.
- Deep fry or air fry until golden brown. These can also be cooked in an air fryer but the wonton skins won't be as puffy.
