5-Ingredient Turkey Sloppy Joe Pasta
We've replaced ground beef with ground turkey in nearly all of our meals that usually call for beef, as a healthier alternative, and we haven't looked back. It takes some getting used to but after a bit you don't miss the beef. I love beef, I love steak; don't get me wrong. But our household has noticed a difference significantly in how we feel and our fitness when we avoid heavy meats like beef. This doesn't mean we are entirely vegan at this point, but cutting down on the things that make you feel like sh!t seems like a no brainer. I will still enjoy red meat if the situation calls for it, no we won't throw a huge fit at your BBQ due to this change. But most likely, it will be enjoyed in a sensible portion. I will note that portion control is likely one of the main factors, not just the fact of eating beef.
We started making Turkey Sloppy Joe's and it quickly became our favorite use of ground turkey. Then after a while, we cooked up this Turkey Sloppy Joe pasta and it's been in our weekly rotation since
