Chhally and I always wanted to do a zoo date so we decided on finally doing it. We took my four year old little brother, Nolan, along too! It was pretty much one of the highlights of my summer. Any day I spend with Nolan and Chhally is a highlight for me.

He was so excited to see and learn about the animals he's only seen on tv or read about. The lions were his absolute favorite and the snakes amazed the heck out of him.

Seeing the world through a kid's eyes is so refreshing. I know for a fact that if Chhally and I were to explore the zoo, just the two of us, this day would have been so much different and we'd probably waltz through without exploring much at all. With Nolan, we wanted to see, touch, explore, read, and learn. So glad we got to experience all these new firsts with Nolan.
